About Elwood Care Pre-K

Elwood Care Pre-K is a non-profit organization that offers students within the Elwood School District the opportunity to learn their letters, numbers, shapes, and colors within Harley Avenue Primary School. 

As students get ready for Kindergarten, students will learn a letter and a number each week, focusing on letter recognition, letter identification and letter sound recognition to adequately prepare them. 

Students will also be introduced to weekly sight words in preparation for early literacy and Kindergarten.  This will be done using hands on activities such as art projects, science experiments, show and tell, and many other fun activities.
